All the apple devices require you to create a apple id which is required to buy or install free apps from the apple itunes appstore, this apple id will be a unique id assigned to you for your apple device, your device could be an iphone, ipod touch or ipad. Recently, my brother bought an ipod touch, he wanted to explore great apps in apple app store but when he tried to create a account, he stopped at the payment mode as he is a student he does not have a credit card, then after some googling we came to know about another method which could allow us to create a apple id without requiring a credit card.


So the trick here is that, you need to create a apple id account through the app store app found on apple iphone, ipod touch or on ipad, this app is preinstalled by apple on all these devices. You can see the apple app store app in the screenshot below.



Once you have launched the app store app, go and select any free app like remote app from apple which is free to install and use.



Now tap free button to install it, now it will ask you to sign in to your apple account or create a new account, select the option to create a new account. You’ll need to read and agree to the iTunes Store Terms & Conditions. Tap Agree located at the bottom of the page to continue.

Choose your country, then tap Done.



Now Enter your email address, security question, birthday, and create your password. Tap Next and then Select None as your payment option as shown in the image below.



Continue to fill out the required email, address, and phone number fields. Tap Next. You’ll then see a screen that says "Verify your Account."



Tap Done and check your email for a verification email from iTunes Store on your email account inbox and click verify now link as shown in the image below.



That’s done, once you verified your itunes apple app store account has been created and activated, and you can now buy apps from apple app store.
